Owner / Operator in the Management Program

On-site
  • Positions across Ontario, Quebec, and the East Coast, Ontario, Canada

Job description

Since 1981, the Student Works Management Program has established itself as the premier summer program for students who want to learn management skills that will set them apart when they graduate.

It's a co-op that lets you learn hands-on as you take on management and leadership roles no other organization can provide. You are in charge of your own team and local area, allowing you to level-up up your resume with practical experience managing employees, training them on the job, creating and implementing a marketing plan, and learning to build a business from the ground up.

The best part? You work 1-on-1 with a successful mentor, whose goal is to help you develop as a manager.

Job requirements

The program requires a few basic things.

  • The applicant must be ambitious and prepared to take on a challenging position.
  • Be available for part-time hours (approx. 10-20 hours/week) in the winter semester (February to April) and full-time throughout the summer months.
  • A full driver's license (G2 in Ontario) that allows the applicant to drive unaccompanied.
